Maile's class had a field trip to Magness Tree Farm on her birthday. She lucked out with the sunshine and getting to do her school's birthday celebration out in the woods. : )
The tour guide was amazing and knew everything about that place! He taught all of us a lot, but really impressed us with the snakes he kept finding and picking up.
Maile spotted this baby egg on the ground that had hatched.
This was just one of the many, many snakes. The kids were all brave and got to touch them. When he lifted this board, several of them when scattering!
Complete with birthday crown and cape for the outdoor celebration.
The celebration includes lots of songs and an around the world walk.
Maile selected a toy pony out of the birthday box!
She finished the night off with dinner at her favorite restaurant - Sweet Tomatoes - with Grandma Paulina.
