Easter Egg Hunt

Kind of at the last minute, we decided to host an Easter Egg hunt and brunch this year. Maile had so much fun doing the prep!
She made sure there were balloons everywhere . . .

She assembled goody bags for the kids . . .

She helped make place cards for the guests and set the table.

She made and decorated a bunny krispy treat for each child. Each bunny had its own "unique" look. : )

She helped pick out Easter baskets that the children could decorate with stickers and their names.

It was the nicest day we've had in a long time - in terms of weather, so we really lucked out.

A couple of children weren't able to make it, so the others benefited from their absence. : ) They each got to collect at least 14 eggs!

Aaron had to get tricky with the hiding part. There aren't many places to hide eggs in an empty yard.

And, here's just part of the mess after the party. It wasn't that bad after a yummy breakfast of blueberry pancakes, bacon and fruit salad (still can't believe that over 20 people were able to sit down and eat all at once with warm food!).
