Easter 2011

We finally got a day that felt warm outside!! It was a wonderful way to start the Easter weekend. Aaron enjoyed a round of golf with the guys, while Melissa and Maile enjoyed some Easter events.

Katy invited us to an Easter event at her work. It was so sweet to see all of the high school volunteers working with the little kids. Maile didn't want to be blindfolded for pin the tail on the bunny, so she opted for a photo at the game instead.

Maile and Braden posed with Bucky. You'd think the costume would have been a bunny, but it was held at a school where Bucky is the mascot. : )

We later went to another Easter event. Here is Maile making a "resurrection roll."

The egg hunt was the hit of the day.

Oh, how the weather can change in one day. Today we went to the Bottaros for yummy Easter brunch and an outdoor egg hunt. The outdoor egg hunt was just slightly different from the day before. On Saturday, the chocolates were melting in the eggs. Today, the candies were getting wet from the rain. The kids didn't mind, though!

Maile finally got to wear her Easter dress. Thanks, Grandma Paulina!

The long weekend meant a nice nap on the way home.

Once we got home, Grandma Paulina was there to greet us with an Easter basket and a homemade Vietnamese Easter dinner!

Happy Easter 2011!
