We had so much fun in San Diego last year, that we were glad when we found out Melissa had to take another business trip there last week. The three of us went to Sea World again and spent some time with Uncle Mike, Aunt Cristina and cousins Brandon and Mia. It was sunny, but a little breezy at times. We got in a bit of pool time, but not as much as we would have liked. It was strange to come home to warmer weather in Oregon!
When we were visiting a store at Seaport Village, Maile had her first "You break, you (your parents) buy" experience. Afterwards, she was telling us she was sorry for what happened. Her cutie-pie cousin Mia had a handful of coins and was listening carefully. Mia purposefully reached into her handful of coins, plucked out a dime and handed it to Maile saying, "Here you go, Maile. This is for apologizing." If only I could make the written version sound like Mia's adorable, cartoon-like voice. It was HILARIOUS!
Maile loves to lounge by the pool as much as we do!
