Maile's preschool had their annual Christmas program. Unlike last year, Maile wasn't shy at all this year. She even shouted out (during a transition between songs), "I can't wait for juice and cookies at the end of the show!" She loved being an angel in the program and handling all of the props. ; )
She was so excited that her friend, Sophia, came to watch the show. She waved and winked at her during the whole program.
Maile and Sophia also got dressed up to go to see the Nutcracker Ballet. It was definitely one of Maile's highlights of 2011. She loved it so much and often tries to reenact the dances at home.
We also celebrated with a Christmas gathering. Maile made superhero capes and blaster cuffs for her friends and young family members this year. The kids then made superhero masks at the party!
