Spring Break '11

Even though the weather was cooler than expected, we still had a lot of fun in Southern California. We were able to spend a few days with Uncle Mike, Aunt Cristina, and Cousins Brandon and Mia. We got to see Mia and Brandon in action at their ball games! We then headed to Palm Springs for a few more days.

Maile loved every minute at her cousins' house. She even loved playing with Zoe.

Even though Palm Springs was cooler than usual (and even rained one day!), we were able to get some pool time in each day. Aaron came home with a sunburn - even with spf 50. I guess we were all lacking some sun.

The hotel actually had five pools, and thank goodness the water was like a really warm bath. We avoided the sprinkler area - that was freezing.

Of course there wasn't a cloud in the sky on our last day.

Who needs beach when you have sand by the pool?
