One thing we look forward to every Christmas is time with our dear friends, the Bottaros. This year, they came to stay with us on a night when we hosted a party for a little over 30 of our good friends. It had been three years since our last Christmas party - right before Maile was born. It was so nice to have everyone back together this year. (We were so busy at the party that we didn't have time to take any pics.) Things were a little different with so many children running around, but they were kept busy enough that the adults had time to enjoy a gift exchange. : ) The next morning was also a blast because Vince, Kelsey and Maile got to open their gifts from each other.
Funny thing - Kelsey and Maile gave each other almost identical ballet outfits!
We had no idea she would be so into the ballet outfit, but she loved it! We had tap shoes, but no ballet shoes . . . oops.
She also got a talking cash register/ATM from V and K to use when she plays pretend "grocery shopping."
