It was a sunny day here, so we thought it would be a perfect day to get our Christmas tree. We got loaded up and ready - complete with plastic bags over our feet to help control the mud. We were looking forward to our annual tree cutting (well, Aaron's annual tree cutting). Grandma Paulina came out to join us. After realizing our usual tree farm wasn't open, we followed signs to another tree farm. The drive seemed like hours along a steep, windy road. Unfortunately, when we got there, they were closed!! Clarification on "closed" - just not open yet for the season. Okay, we were a little early. We did stop at a tree stand selling pre-cut trees just because we had hyped up the tree thing to Maile! In the end, we ended up coming home empty handed and with clean shoe baggies.
