There aren't too many things that Melissa will get up early for on a weekend day. Diversity training is one thing that is worthwhile, especially when she is able train future teachers with one of her closest friends. Melissa and Kristy went to school together and have known each other for ten years. They have always shared a passion for diversity issues, so it was a real treat to be co-facilitators all day on Saturday. (Fellow Diversity Cadre member, Debra, also joined in the facilitation!)
